Minneapolis Decorative Concrete

Decorative Concrete Quote Request & Design Selection:

The best place to start, whether your decorative concrete project is residential or commercial, is emailing plans to us at eric@livingstoneconcretedesign.com. In our experience the earlier you can get us information, the better the overall project coordinates. Making custom decorative concrete pieces require a fair amount of plan and preparation time.

Please feel free to call us if you would rather speak to someone directly. For Minneapolis and St. Paul projects, we invite you to schedule a visit to our shop to see our decorative concrete products fist hand as well as to give you the opportunity to review and discuss your project in further detail. We have several concrete countertops, concrete sinks and tables on display that have been cast in our most popular colors. These large displays give you a good sense of the natural variation in our concrete.

Field Measure &Template or Build To Spec:

Living Stone is capable of manufacturing your decorative concrete project under a couple conditions. We do require a signed contract and deposit to be in place before scheduling any work to begin.

Templates: If the project is local to the Minneapolis area, and the site conditions require a physical template, we can set a date for one of our experienced team members to come once the job site is ready for template. Our goal is to ensure a successful outcome. It is our policy that the person who is authorized and capable of making all project decisions can either be onsite or available via phone during the template. This will greatly reduce the number of unanswered questions and will prevent lost time and possible extra charges to re-template. For non-local projects, contractors or homeowners can also send us templates to fabricate from.

Are you ready for a template?

  • All sinks, faucets, and fixtures are on site
  • Drop-in cook tops / over-mount stoves are on site
  • Any appliances that will affect the concrete are in place
  • All base cabinets are securely in their final position
  • All decorative panels and drawers that affect countertop overhangs are in place

Build to Spec: Some projects do not require a template and can be built to the measurements or specifications that you provide. We will work with you to ensure that we have all of the information needed to create the project. No matter if you are providing a drawing or Living Stone is providing one based on your measurements, we will require sign off on all drawings prior to the start of fabrication.

Fabrication And Lead Time:

To ensure that you receive the highest quality pre-cast concrete products it is important that our products go through a set process that is not compromised. Basing off our schedule and current workload, we will set a projected lead time in which your project will be completed. Living Stone works tirelessly to ensure that we always stay within or beat the timeframe provided. However, we cannot cast your custom concrete countertops if we do not have the required information, sign-offs and payments in place. It is imperative that we work together and upfront to ensure that we all achieve a successful project outcome.

Installation, Delivery, or Shipment:

Installation:  Custom concrete projects local to the Minneapolis area are typically delivered by or installed by Living Stone Concrete. Once your project is nearing completion, we will contact you to schedule a date and time. We will usually have a good sense of the timeframe required prior to the installation, but unforeseen circumstances can arise that increase the amount of time needed to complete the project.

Shipping: For a project that is being shipped, you will be contacted by one of our representatives when the crate is ready for shipment. Please note that deliveries are curbside.

My wife and I were looking to update our kitchen countertops, but instead of just having one of the big home improvement conglomerates throw in slabs of granite or quartz, we wanted to do something unique and that catered to our home design needs. That is where Eric and Living Stone Concrete Design came in.  Nothing but praise and thanks to Eric in listening to our thoughts and ideas plus helping us decide on what best fit our desires, not only esthetically but financially! Our family could not be happier with the results and would recommend Living Stone to anyone who is looking to update any room of their home without having it look cookie cutter. If you want to experience how true remodeling projects should be conducted and feel as though you can call your provider at any time with questions, then I suggest Eric and the skills plus knowledge he brings to the table.
